Recipe-Cheddar Cheese Ball

All ready to go!!

This is my all time favorite cheese ball recipe. My grandma has about 10 different ones she makes, but this is by far my favorite!!

12 ounces cream cheese
1 Tub Garlic and herb spreadable cheese (about 8 ounces)
1 Tub spreadable cheddar cheese (about 8 ounces)
Couple of dashes of Worshire sauce
Chopped pecans (optional)

1) Let your cheeses sit out until they reach room temperature so they are easier to mix. Then combine all three cheeses with a mixer.
Sometimes I have a hard time finding the garlic and herb cheese.
This is the brand I typically use and I've found it at Target, Meijer and Kroger.

2) Add your dashes of worshire sauce and mix in. I typically do 2-3 dashes.
Cheeses all mixed together.

3) Lay out a piece of saran wrap large enough to cover your cheese ball. Then sprinkle some pecan on it to cover the bottom part of your cheese ball if you like. Normally I put the cheese in the freezer for a couple of minutes to help make it more modable before I try to shape it into a ball, but this time I didn't have time since I was taking it to work. I just spooned it on top of the pecans into a general ball shape.

If you let the cheese chill first then you can roll it into a more perfect
ball, but I feel like a perfect ball is a waste of time since people demolish it quickly.

4) Then sprinkle pecans on the top and sides of the cheese ball before covering with saran wrap and refrigerating for a couple of hours before serving with crackers. Normally I try to make this the night before we are eating it.

I basically just sprinkle the pecans on. Doesn't have to be perfect.
