Sunday Social: Spring

This Weeks Questions:

1. What is your favorite thing about Spring?  Probably planting our garden. I love planning what we are going to plant each year (Hubs does the actual planting since I do all the canning).

2. Favorite kind of flowers to grow or receive?  Tulips or Gerber daisies

3. What is your favorite nail polish color? Really digging all neon colors right now.

4. What is your favorite out door activity?  Boating and relaxing on the patio.

5. Do you have any fun Spring plans? Details :) In a couple of weeks we are taking my son to Great Wolf Lodge for his birthday. Also hopefully finishing our maser bedroom and then our house redo will be about 90% done(just so we can turn around and sell it).

  4. I LOVE Canning Season. Yes, I actually refer to it as a season. :)
My husband and I both plant our garden and can together. And he will be helping me with those darn chickens!

    1. It is def. a season!! I actually take a couple days of work just to make sure I get everything done, but it's worth because we save so much money at the grocery store.

  5. We just started a Veggie Garden and I am excited for all of what will be growing. I am intrigued about Canning. Have you done a post on it? If so please let me know the link I would love to read up on it. Thanks for the Advice on the sunflowers I am sure I will need it staked because of the CRAZY high winds here in TeXas. I thought living in Chicago when it was windy was bad...Not even close.

Thanks for visiting us at www.2chattycrafters.com on this Social Sunday (or monday because I am a little behind today)

  6. The only full post on canning I did last year was on Strawberry jelly. I plan of doing a bunch more this year though because so many people have asked about it.
