This is the beginning of my favorite baby stage. They can sit up and interact with you, but they can't crawl away from you yet. Right now Carson is so close to sitting up on her own, which is helping the hair grow back in her bald spot tremendously. She has started to chew on her toes now also, which means I have to stop painting them.
I still can't get over how tiny she is. She can still fit into 3 months cloths sometimes even 0-3. I have started to bring out some 6 months stuff just because everything I bought on clearance last year for summer is 6 months.
We have also realized that as much as Hendrix loves the outdoors is about how much Carson hates it. Every time we take her outside within 5 minutes she gets fussy and then is completely fine once you take her back inside. Clearly this is a problem since there is no way I can leave your brother outside alone and he starts asking to go outside the moment he wakes up in the morning.
At her 6 month appointment she weighed 15lbs(33%) and was 25 1/2 inches long (30%). Her head circumference was 16 1/2 inches (39%). I looked back at what Hendrix weighed at 6 months because I knew it was a lot, but I didn't realize he weighed 21 lbs...yea a full 6lbs difference.
Carson finally showed us that she can indeed roll over. Ignore Hendrix throwing a fit in the background. He wasn't to please about her roll over at first. Now he thinks it's funny.
Here are some pictures from the last month:
