Garden Update

It's still not as warm as I would like, but we decided to go ahead and plant everything except for the a few things that are still too small to transplant.
We are putting chicken wire around our garden
this year to keep Molly our dog and Hendrix out.

The "T" below stands for transplant versus planting an actual seed in the ground (ex. corn and green beans).  We also plant our corn in rounds about every 2 weeks to spread out our harvest. Not sure how many rounds we will have this year since we are planting later than normal, but last year I think we did 4 rounds.

Caught him mid-run.

We are using this to grow our peas on.

Helping plant some seeds.
I'll try to remember to take some more pictures of everything we have planted/transplanted thus far later this week. Our celery is growing great which is supposed to be one of the hardest plants to grow. Also our radishes are close to being ready to harvest I think.

  1. I love your pea trellis. I just bought some pole bean seeds, wish I had enough space for something like that!

    1. If you are short on space you can use a tomatoes cage for your peas to grow on. It worked great for us, but we are growing more now so had to move onto something bigger.
