Thursday Thoughts

-Yesterday I broke my sewing machine conveniently right in the middle of a project. I have yet to find a you tube video to help me fix it and the manual is no help. I refuse to pay someone to fix it not that I actually know anywhere that I can take it to be fixed.

-Both kids had their well child check ups this week (6mo/2 yr) and they actually both cooperated, which will probably never happen again. There is nothing wrong with Hendrix's tonsils so the next step for his snoring problem is  a sleep study.

-I should have about 5 maybe 6 things coming in the mail today. I haven't gotten any packages in a while so I'm super excited.

-Last week Hendrix had pink eye and was contagious for 24 hours...somehow he managed to pass it on to Carson despite the heavy Lysol use. Yea putting eye drops in an infant is harder than you would think.  Let's hope this never happens again, but on the bright side it has to be better than lice which I hope we never get because lets be real nobody is going to get one of those combs through Hendrix's hair.
This is what his hair looks like on any given day.
Don't even think about combing that mop when it's dry.

  1. I am cracking up at the thought of using eye drops on a baby. WB would not like that. At all.

And bravo for taking both kids at the same time!! I try and avoid that at all costs!

  2. I adore Hendrix's hair. And his name. Although I would always struggle with the plural Hendrix. I had this same conversation with myself this morning. My daughter got an invitation to a birthday party from a boy named Pheonix. Anyways. I digress. He is way too cute for words!

Stopping by from the link-up. Have a great day.

    1. I guess the plural does sound weird...never thought about it, but typically I'm just yelling his name in singular since he is constantly destroying stuff.

Wow poor you. We just did the pink eye thing back in March ontop of both boys having ear infections so it was miserable at my house. My 5 yr old did ok and said the drops helped but the 2 yr old hated it. He wanted nothing to do with any of it and made sure everyone knew it.

    1. That's awesome your 5 year old didn't mind the eye drops. It's such a weird feeling so I can see why kids don't like them.
