Books I Read In 2014

I tend to read a lot and love getting good book recommendations so I decided to compile all the books I read in the past year. Some of them I put little notes next too if they really stood out to me.

1. Fangirl

2 & 3.The Outlander Series- I started it in late 2013 in light of the TV series premiering on Starz during the summer of 2014.

  • An Echo in the Bone(7th book)-Probably my favorite book of the series. So much happens in the book and it reinforces my love of young Ian, who may just be my favorite character outside of Jamie and Claire of course.

35 Weeks

I realize this picture is a long time coming.

My doctors appointment got delayed because of the Holidays so I'm slightly off track, but now I go every week so it doesn't really matter that much. I have been having a ton of contractions off and on since Christmas Eve so I was really interested to see if I had progressed any. At my appointment I was 1 cm dilated. Next week my doctor is out of town so I'm actually just going to skip my 36 week appointment. She offered to let me see  someone else in the practice next week, but I decided to just have my next one be when I'm a little over 37 weeks. If I do randomly go into labor next week then a doctor I know well in the practice will just do my c-section, but I'm confident I'll make it to my scheduled day.

Christmas 2014!!

Hendrix was so cute this year and was finally into the whole Santa gig. He left him cookies and some carrots for the reindeer. After we were done opening presents he asked if he could hang his stocking back up and Santa fill it with toys again(Santa only leaves things in our stockings).  Clearly he caught on fast.

Christmas Eve 2014

I wasn't feeling well on Christmas Eve this year and little did I know it was only going to get worse on Christmas day. I have been having serious contractions on and off all day. Hubs cleaned the majority of the house for me Christmas Eve since I could barely function. After the kids napped we headed to my Grandma Sanders house to celebrate.

Jingle Rails

My kids are obsessed with trains...so a yearly trip to Jingle rails is a no brainer for us. They were beside themselves running back in forth watching all the trains.

Christmas at the Zoo 2014

It was crazy warm yesterday for December so the Zoo was insane. We had to wait almost an hour to see Santa and normally we just walk right up. It did seem like they had a ton more lights and decorations up which was nice. Although we didn't stay long since it was so crowded.

Annoyed that Carson's shirt is all waded up.

Carson was having a melt down.
