We had to be at the hospital at 5:30 am again and my C-section was supposed to start at 7;30 am. Which didn't really happen because they couldn't get an IV line on me. Took 3 nurses and 4 different attempts to get one. Basically the entire time they were trying I was vomiting bile since I hadn't eaten since the night before.
I don't think I got into the OR until about 7:40ish and then they still had to put in my spinal block, which didn't take long. Once I was covered up with warm blankets and they had the curtain up my mom and Robby were allowed to come in and things got started. My doctor said Baylor had herself wedge up at the top of my uterus. Which is exactly how she popped my rib out of place.

Once we were back in my room I immediately nursed Baylor since her blood sugar(42) was a little low at birth. We did end up have to supplement with about 15ml of formula because her blood sugar wasn't rising fast enough after I had nursed her a few times. Also I was still puking during this whole time period of getting cleaned up and trying to nurse Baylor. We let the kids meet her first although I don't think they were super impressed. We did get to watch Baylor get her first bath this time which was nice.
