Hendrix had his first day of preschool today!! So bittersweet. I'm happy he is growing up, but having a child in full time school and having to deal with scheduling things around the school calendar year sucks I've already realized. No just taking off on a Thursday night for a long weekend anymore.

I can't believe Baylor is already 6 months..half a year is already gone. She is babbling like crazy and the kids think its hilarious when she "talks." She is still going to bed about 7:00 pm and waking up around 6:00 am sometimes even later. She has been getting better at napping, but still pretty much will only nap in her swing or car seat. The girls are doing great about sharing a room.
She is soooo close to sitting up on her own also. She can roll over both ways now, but prefers to just lay on her side. Baylor always sleeps with both of her hands behind her head also, which is hilarious. Hendrix used to do the same thing also.
She started eating a little bit of baby food a couple of weeks ago and we stopped nursing shortly after she turned 5 months old. Right now she gets about half formula and half frozen breast milk that I had stockpiled.
Her 6 month appointment isn't for a couple more weeks, but she is still in size 1 diapers and 3-6 month clothing. Once we finish up what size 1's we have then we are going to move up to size 2.
Here is some pictures from the past month:

So I finally got around to shopping Target's summer clearance stuff. It's already at 70% off and has been for 2 days at least, so it could potentially be 90% starting tomorrow(Friday).

and then I let him pick out a gift to give to my mom for her birthday.
Saturday we headed down to southern Indiana to celebrate the fourth with my mom's side of the family. My great grandma is turning 102 in August and she was riding in the town parade. We all joined her on the float to throw candy and wave to everyone. The kids absolutely loved it. Afterwards we did some fireworks with my aunt, uncle, and cousins. Hendrix was so into the fireworks this year.
